Your Privacy Matters

Shush is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome extension. The short version: we do not collect any data. Period.

Shush does not collect any data whatsoever. We have designed the extension to work entirely locally on your device without any external communication. This means:

• No analytics or telemetry of any kind
• No crash reports or error logging
• No usage statistics
• No personal information
• No browsing history or activity tracking
• Nothing is ever sent to our servers

Because we collect zero data:

• We have no idea who you are or how you use Shush
• We cannot track your browsing activity on any website
• We do not know your Twitch username or account information
• We cannot see which streams you watch
• We have nothing to sell or share with third parties
• There is no database of user information to breach

Shush requires the following permission:

• "Read and change your data on twitch.tv" - This permission is required exclusively to detect and block ad scripts within the Twitch video player. We do not access, read, or modify any other data on the page.

Shush does not integrate with or send data to third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is checking for extension updates through the Chrome Web Store, which is handled by Google Chrome itself.

Since we collect virtually no data, there is minimal data to secure. Any anonymized crash reports we receive are stored securely and automatically deleted after 30 days. We do not maintain databases of user information.

Shush does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The extension functions identically for all users regardless of age, and no personal information is collected from any user.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Shush after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
