Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using the Shush browser extension ("Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

Shush is a browser extension designed to block video advertisements on Twitch.tv. The Extension operates locally within your browser and does not require account creation or personal information. Shush filters ad-related network requests and scripts to provide an uninterrupted viewing experience.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• 1Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Extension
• 2Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the Extension to third parties
• 3Use the Extension for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• 4Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Extension

You agree to use Shush only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• 1Use the Extension to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• 2Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Extension or servers connected to it
• 3Use the Extension in any manner that could damage or impair Twitch.tv or any other service
• 4Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• 5Use automated means to access the Extension except as expressly permitted

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• 1The Extension will meet your specific requirements
• 2The Extension will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• 3The Extension will successfully block all advertisements at all times
• 4Any errors in the Extension will be corrected

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SHUSH, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.

Shush is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch Interactive, Inc. or Amazon.com, Inc. "Twitch" is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc. Use of the Extension is at your own risk, and we make no representations regarding Twitch's policies on ad-blocking software.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension will immediately cease. You may also terminate by uninstalling the Extension from your browser.
